How to get there: Car- Clay Lane A3100, off the main A3 Guildford. Car park at Bowers Lane.
Bus - Arriva number 36/37 Burpham, Merrow Park and Bushy Hill - Royal Surrey County Hospital.
Cycle - cycle path from Bowers Lane, Guildford-Spectrum, Guildford. Also access from River Wey Navigation towpath by Stoke Lock.
Visitor facilities: Car park, all ability access through site, wetland boardwalk, interpretation, leaflet. The site won a Green Flag Award in 2008.
What to see: Open water and large reedbeds Habitat Action Plan, Wetland HAP.

Site managed for breeding birds, terns, sedge warbler, reed bunting, water rail, redshank, snipe, lapwing.
