How to get there: The main part of Silk Mills Park and Ride LNR is located to the immediate east of Silk Mills Road (A3065)Taunton, just south of the railway line Bishops Hull.
Visitor facilities: Parking and wheelchair access.
What to see: The site is in three parcels of land. Habitats include newly planted broad leaved woodland, wet woodland, wet and neutral Silk Mills Park and Ride
Silk Mills Park and Ride LNR consists of three parcels of land mainly set admidst farmland adjacent to the River Tone to the west of Taunton town centre.
The reserve consists of landscaping and flood alleviation works constructed as part of County Council's Park and Ride scheme.
Habitats include newly planted broad leaved woodland, wet woodland, wet and neutral grassland and two retention ponds with a variety of aquatic and marginal vegetation
