How to get there: Car - Riesco Drive Off Ballards Way, off the main A212 Coombe Lane, Croyden
Tram to Coombe Lane, walk along Coombe Lane then turn into Ballards Way. Take a left turn into Riesco Drive and follow the road to the bottom.

What to see: An enchanting site which includes oak and ash woodland with a clearing of acidic grassland, supporting a range of bird, butterfly and flower species. The wood is predominantly oak, ash and sycamore and has wonderful spring time displays of bluebell. Yellow flag and flote grass surround the margins of the large woodland pond and a small clearing of acidic grassland is alive with a wealth of species including sheeps-fescue, heather and heath bedstraw.
Species - Nuthatch, song thrush, lesser spotted woodpecker and green woodpecker; purple hairstreak butterfly; stag beetle and yellow meadow ant; pipistrelle bat.
