How to get there: Off Moor Lane in Allenton. Next to Moorways Swimming Pool.
Visitor facilities: There is a requirement for access to be made using a visitor reporting system which is administered from the reception areas of the Moorland Sports Centre. There is a circular Path around the outer edges.
What to see: One of the two Ancient woodland in Derby conatining mainly Ash and Elm.
