How to get there: From the A6 , south of Duffield town centre, take the road east to Little Eaton. Immediately after the railway bridge turn right towards the church. Turn right through the car park then follow the road alongside the railway line. The meadow (with car parking) is immediately on the right after the narrow bridge.

What to see: Part of the Lowland Derbyshire Biodiversity Action Plan and includes flood plain grazing marsh, standing open water with associated vegetation, rivers, stream and hedgerows. The site is bounded by the Derwent and Ecclesbourne Rivers and has had extensive restoration work over the past few years including the creation of a pond and wetland area, wildflower meadow and woodland.

During a visit you may see a variety of plants including vetches, bird's-foot trefoil, marsh marigold, devil's-bit scabious and ragged robin.
