How to get there: Weir Road off the main A218 Durnsford Road , Merton
It is accessible on foot from Plough Lane in the south and from Weir Road and Trewint Street in the north.
Train: Haydons Road Station in the south or Earlsfield Station in the north.
Visitor facilities: The site is open at all times.
The Wandle Trail passes through the site.
What to see: Mature trees line the banks of the river Wandle, forming strips of woodland lined with various trees, scrubs, herbs and patches of grassland.
Home to a selection of mammals and bird specifies, which frequent the river.
