Nearest station is at Barnes Bridge.

Visitor facilities: Its mile-long perimeter path gives excellent views over the water.
Entrances on Lonsdale Road and the Thames Path.

What to see: A former reservoir saved from development by local action. It has become a hidden treasure, where ducks and other water birds can breed away from the famous London Wetland Centre. In winter, there are teal, tufted duck, widgeon and shovellers. See also herons and kestrals.
