What to see: Although this is a Country Park, it is also one of the Local Nature Reserves in the area. Wildlife Diversity is an important attribute of the Park which is a Class One Site of Biological Importance. There are seven principle habitat types and each of these habitats supports its own community of plants and animals, contributing greatly to the overall wildlife value of the Park and giving a large overall total number of species. A number of individual species rare to this area, and in some cases scarce in the county, have been recorded in Baggeridge. The Park contains records of 13 of the species itemised in the Staffordshire Biodiversity Action Plan. The Park comprises woodland, ponds, streams, heathland and meadows.

There is a comprehensive leaflet available on the website.
