How to get there: Colney hatch Lane off the main A406 N Circular Road.
Tube Station: Bounds Green
Train: Alexandra Palace.
Buses 382 (Summers Lane, Short Way bus stop)
Visitor facilities: Entrance From Colney Hatch Lane - opposite Halton Close.
Car parking: Free next to "Southgate Coaches".
From Summers Lane- Enter the road leading to the Recycling Centre. Then turn left, go past the car park (where you can park your car). Then go through the white gate to the woodland ahead.
Recommended access point for wheelchair users. Access is by a locked gate: nevertheless if you contact Coppetts Wood Conservationists a few days in advance.
To get a pushchair into the reserve, you may fold the pushchair before accessing the site.
What to see: The Glebelands is a remnant of Finchley Common and is a strip of woodland and ponds. The site is home to a variety of wild flowers and birds and even slow worms.
Volunteer and 'Friends of' groups: The Coppetts Wood Conservationists meet on Sunday mornings throughout the year with the aim of maintaining the nature reserve.
